Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RCS collects through this website, why, who else sees it, and how to reach us about it. It is short, because this website collects very little.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to www.rcsgo.com, the website of RCS, LLC (RCS Energy Services), an energy services company headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, with operating locations in Port Fourchon and Houma.

It does not cover any other website you reach from a link here. Their policies are their own.

2. Information you give us

This website has no forms. If you want to reach us, you call or you email, and what we have is what you choose to tell us:

• Phone calls. Whatever you tell us on the call, plus whatever your phone service passes along, such as the number you are calling from.
• Email. Your email address and the contents of your message, delivered to our ordinary business inbox.

We use it to answer you, quote the work, and keep normal business records of the jobs we discuss and perform.

3. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, this one records ordinary technical information when a page loads: the pages requested, rough location at city level, the type of device and browser, the site that referred you, and the date and time. Sections 4 and 5 describe the services through which that happens here.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, which pages people read and where visitors arrive from. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google, which processes it on our behalf. We look at it in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual people, and we do not upload names, phone numbers or email addresses into it.

Google explains what it does with this data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits to any site with Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser as described in section 9.

5. The maps on our contact page

Our contact page embeds two Google Maps so you can find our Port Fourchon and Houma locations. Those maps load from Google, and when they do, Google may set cookies and collect technical information from your browser under Google's privacy policy. That happens only on the page that shows the maps.

6. Applying for a job

Our job openings pages link to Paylocity, the hiring platform where applications are actually submitted. This website does not collect or see anything you enter there. Once you follow an apply link, Paylocity's privacy policy governs what happens next.

7. How we use the information

• To answer calls and emails, quote work, and schedule it.
• To keep records of the jobs we have quoted and performed.
• To see, in aggregate, which pages bring people to the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact details to anyone.

8. Who else sees it

• Google, for the analytics in section 4 and the maps in section 5.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this website and keeps ordinary server logs to do it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Anyone we are legally required to give it to, such as in response to a valid legal request.

That is the whole list.

9. Cookies and your choices

This site does not show a cookie consent banner. The only cookies it uses are the Google Analytics cookies in section 4 and whatever Google Maps sets on the contact page. No law that applies to a business of this size and location requires a consent popup, and we would rather tell you plainly here than make you dismiss a box on every visit.

You are in control either way. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, and Google's opt-out add-on in section 4 covers analytics specifically. Blocking cookies does not stop you using this site.

10. How long we keep it

Records of calls, emails and jobs are kept as long as we need them to serve you and to keep proper business records. Analytics data is held by Google under the retention setting on our Analytics property and is deleted on that schedule. Ask us to delete something you sent us and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

11. Security

This site is served over HTTPS and collects no personal information of its own, so there is very little here to secure. The business inbox and phone records that calls and emails reach are limited to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not email sensitive personal or financial information.

12. Children

This site is meant for adults arranging industrial energy services or applying for work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Links to other sites

Where this site links to Google, Cloudflare or Paylocity, those pages are theirs, not ours. We have no control over what they collect once you are there.

14. Changes to this policy

If what we collect or who receives it changes, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.

15. How to reach us about privacy

Questions about this policy, or a request to see, correct or delete something you sent us, can come straight to us.
